Batumi Puppet Theater
This building has an old history and is of particular value only for Batumi, but for the whole of Georgia. At the beginning of the 20th century, it belonged to a Greek doctor who received patients at home. Since 1924, the building was transferred to the Adjara Teacher’s House, where the organization is still working. The puppet theater has been operating here from the period 1936-1940.
Batumi Art Museum
This is an important center of modern Georgian culture. The museum houses a whole collection of exhibits that give a clear idea of the main stages of Georgian art of the 20th century. There is also a small section of European and Russian art, which is presented in paintings and sculptural works of the XIX-XX centuries.
